Shift Manager - Food Production-Due to expansion

Location:
Salary: 28,500 - 34,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7, covering between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM

Shift Manager

to join our growing team at our food manufacturing site. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of daily operations and drive high standards across safety, quality, and performance.

About the Role:

As a Shift Manager, you'll lead a dedicated team on shift to ensure production targets are met efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality. You'll be responsible for coordinating people and processes, supporting continuous improvement, and acting as a key link between frontline staff and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, coach, and motivate production teams to deliver on KPIs Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and hygiene standards Drive performance improvements through effective planning and problem-solving Manage shift handovers and maintain accurate records Support onboarding, training, and development of team members Work collaboratively across departments including Quality, Engineering, and Logistics

About You:

Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within food manufacturing or FMCG Strong understanding of HACCP, food safety, and health & safety regulations Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities Flexible and willing to work across a 7-day operation on a rotating shift pattern
