We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our dynamic restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the kitchen and front-of-house operations while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Duties



Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient food preparation and production. Manage daily operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness standards. Train and mentor team members in food preparation, cooking techniques, and customer service best practices. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Monitor staff performance, providing feedback and conducting performance evaluations as necessary. Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving operational efficiency and profitability.

Skills



Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or culinary setting. Strong supervisory experience with a focus on team management and leadership. Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous. Familiarity with barista duties is a plus for establishments serving coffee or specialty beverages. Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers alike. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for delivering outstanding service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 10.00-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 38 per week

Work Location: In person
