We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee operations in our dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with excellent leadership skills to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Duties
Supervise daily operations within the service area, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.
Lead and motivate team members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
Assist in training new staff members on operational procedures and best practices in food handling and safety.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction is prioritised.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery during peak hours.
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in food production or kitchen management.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
Experience in bartending or cooking is advantageous but not essential.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and staff alike.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
