Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Managers to oversee daily operations within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and QSR Operations, along with exceptional leadership skills. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of food safety and quality while managing a team to deliver excellent service to our customers.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient operations. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards. Manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while minimising waste. Train and mentor team members in food production techniques, hospitality practices, and customer service excellence. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction at all times. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health regulations and company policies. Collaborate with the management team to implement new initiatives aimed at improving service quality and operational efficiency. Scheduling/Rotas for crew members within allocated Budget.

Skills

Proven experience in supervising teams within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong culinary understanding and skills with experience in food preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development. Previous experience in kitchen roles or service positions at Management level required . Experience in Leading teams of 30 or more. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with staff and customers alike. A background in hospitality or hotel management is essential.
