We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Shift Manager to oversee daily operations within our busy hospitality environment. Responsibilities
Lead and supervise team members during shifts, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent service delivery
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards
Manage daily operations including food safety compliance, inventory control, and cleanliness standards
Support staff in their roles, providing guidance on culinary techniques, serving procedures, and hospitality best practices
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations across all areas of the establishment
Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally to ensure customer satisfaction
Assist in training new team members and fostering a positive team environment
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and service delivery
Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
Experience in food production, serving, and hospitality environments
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
Previous barista or bar management experience is advantageous but not essential
A proactive attitude with strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
