About the Role:




Location: Avonmouth MRF Salary: 43,500 Car allowance: 7,350 Shift: 06:00-14:00 or 14:00-22:00 (1 role available for each shift) Benefits: 10% Bonus + 25 Days Annual leave + Enhanced Pension + Sick Pay + Great benefits catalogue

What will you be be doing?




You'll work with other members of the Processing team to maximise potential revenue from a varied feedstock and customer base, while achieving a very high quality and tightly specified product. To succeed, you must have acute awareness of production quality plus the ability to judge and act on any issues that arise. You'll also be expected to keep accurate records, help plan maintenance and ensure the plant runs in a safe, efficient way, in line with statutory regulations and Health & Safety legislation.

What will you need and can you gain?




Having managed a team in a production processing plant before, you should already have what it takes as you'll be able to lead people, deliver against KPIs and work safely in a demanding processing environment. Underpinning this expertise will be:


Qualifications in Engineering or Manufacturing (or equivalent experience) and ideally Health & Safety (e.g. IOSH) An awareness of manufacturing techniques including lean (Six Sigma) and continuous improvement. A qualified first aider with the drive to gain a COTC/WAMITAB qualification in 12 months (if you don't have this already)
