What you will enjoy doing

To supervise & control all variety of production plants to ensure pipeline tonnage customer demands are met,liquid production is maintained and Hydrogen trailers are filledto meet agreed budget targets.



To work in collaboration with the ROC in monitoring & operating plant, improving plant range, flexibility & performance.



To control and supervise contractor personnel in accordance with site rules and regulations andPermit to Work requirements.



Ensure all plant operations & associated work is carried out safely to BOC Standards and Statutory Regulations.



Acts as Senior Person on Site for on and off site emergencies, and implement Site Emergency


Plans as required.



To lead and manage a shift team, and maintain good relationships with ROC and all other site personnel.



Out of hours have ultimate responsibility for all aspects of site operations



To provide support to the Margam satellite sites during Satellite week as directed by the Satellite Plant Manager

What makes you great

ONC or HNC in an Engineering discipline.



Experience of shift team working on a process plant in a position of some responsibility.



Operating experience of ASU's and associated equipment.



Operating experience of hydrogen plant reformers, carbon monoxide installations and associated equipment.



Detailed knowledge of pipeline customer contracts.



Good base knowledge and understanding of BOC, industry and statutory standards and codes of practice.



Detailed knowledge of BOC Permit to Work procedures and relevant emergency plans (Site, Off Site, Pipeline and Transport Emergency).



Good basic understanding of current Health, Safety and Environment legislation.
