Job Summary:
The Warehouse Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operations of the warehouse during their assigned shift. This role involves managing staff, ensuring accurate order fulfilment, maintaining inventory control, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Flexibility in hours and days is a must from all applicants.
Key Responsibilities:
Shift Management
: Oversee daily warehouse operations during the assigned shift, ensuring all activities are conducted efficiently and safely.
Staff Supervision
: Manage, train, and evaluate warehouse staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to company policies.
Order Fulfilment
: Ensure timely and accurate picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
Inventory Control
: Monitor and manage inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and ensure accurate inventory records.
Safety Compliance
: Enforce safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Process Improvement
: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Reporting
: Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance metrics and KPIs.
Coordination
: Work closely with other departments such inbound, outbound, customer service, couriers and customers to ensure smooth operations.
Order Accuracy Rate
: Measures the percentage of orders correctly picked, packed, and shipped without errors.
Inventory
: meet goods in and outbound SLAs, conduct stock checks such as pick to zero, empty location checks, cycle counting.
Experience
:
Proven experience in managing warehouse operations, in eCommerce environment in B2C and B2B is necessary as we will require up to 2 references to contact before a start date is assigned for the lucky candidate.

Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
