Role: Warehouse Shift Manager

Shifts: Rotating biweekly (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm), any 5 days from 7

As a Warehouse Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team and ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient running of operations during your assigned shift. You will be one of two Shift Managers on site, rotating shifts and working collaboratively to maintain high standards across the board.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily warehouse operations, supervising and motivating staff, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment.

You will manage inventory control through regular cycle counts, pick-to-zero checks, and location audits. You will enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment, while identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity.

You will also prepare performance reports and liaise with other departments including inbound, outbound, customer service, couriers, and clients to ensure seamless operations.

Key performance metrics will include order accuracy rate and inventory SLA compliance. You will be expected to monitor team productivity and maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

To succeed in this role, you will need proven experience managing warehouse operations in a fast-paced eCommerce environment, covering both B2C and B2B. Two professional references will be required prior to a start date. You should demonstrate strong leadership and team-building skills, excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in warehouse management systems and inventory control. The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively is essential. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and flexibility to work rotating shifts are also key.
