Job Description

Key Accountabilities:




+ To manage daily labour allocation of production team, to meet production plan, implement efficient workflow practices to improve daily targets. + To actively promote SHE practices through regular behavioural walks, always leading by example, working to best practice and identifying solutions to Safety, Health and Environmental risks.
+ To maintain shift targets through zone meetings, ensuring all details are available on request for daily and weekly meetings, using daily reporting to identify trends and solutions.
+ To ensure completion of performance management process, completing skilled role 1-1's, identifying training needs or skill gaps to allow succession planning and providing regular feedback, coaching and motivation. To complete all people management processes in full following policy and people team advice.
+ To support delivery of company projects working on associated tasks, leading by example, using positive engagement techniques of change-management for team buy-in.
+ To ensure production team take responsibility for quality, using immediate CI tools when risks occur, processes are followed correctly with any failings controlled and managed.
+ To attend daily and weekly production meetings, ensuring all key information is understood and cascaded to relevant team members. Leading daily zone meeting and monthly briefings to ensure strong communication is always maintained.
+ To attend weekly top loss meetings with facts for poor performing lines with improvement activity moving at pace, coaching and mentoring direct reports.
+ To ensure brand integrity is maintained for Worldwide Fruit and our customers by following policies and procedures so the product meets the expected standard and specification. Ensuring that care and attention is dedicated to what we produce is to the best of our ability for all brands involved.
+ To coach direct reports to problem-solve in day escalations, knowing when to step in to lead a resolve and share learnings. To ensure all risks to order fulfilment, safety and Food safety/legality are escalated to senior management immediately. Out of office hours being the most senior point of contact on site.
+ To collaborate with all departments to ensure smooth delivery of all site activity, managing resource plan to ensure trials, visits, launches are delivered to optimum standards and efficient workflow.



Experience:


Food manufacturing, strong leadership and management abilities. Excellent problem solving and decision making.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in coordinating and organising production activities.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Familiarity with production equipment and machinery.

Flexibility and adaptability to changing production demands.

Teamwork and collaboration skills.


Shift Pattern: Blue shift 06:00 - 18:00 (2,2,3 pattern)
