Summary

As a Shift Manager at Yard Pizza, you will play a vital role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring that our team delivers outstanding service and delicious food to our customers. This position is essential for maintaining the high standards that our family business is known for.

The role is part time for around 20-25 hours per week. These hours will be worked over 4 evenings from Tuesday to Sunday. Shifts are usually 4pm - 10pm but times may change slightly.

You will be trained in all areas if the business from stretching dough through to front of house.

A driving license and own vehicle is needed for this role as you may be required to collect stock if you are in charge of a full shift.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations during your shift. Lead and motivate staff to provide exceptional customer service. Ensure food quality and safety standards are met consistently. Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Train new employees on restaurant policies and procedures. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area.

Requirements

Proven experience in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably in a supervisory role. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff and customers. Knowledge of food production processes and culinary techniques. Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
