Position: Duty Manager

Role Overview:

As the Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of our pub and restaurant. Working closely with the General Manager, you will lead by example, ensuring the highest standards of service are delivered to our valued guests. Your excellent communication skills and ability to inspire and motivate the team will be instrumental in creating a positive and enjoyable dining experience for all guests.

Responsibilities:

Assisting the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of the pub and restaurant operations. Providing outstanding guest service, anticipating guests' needs, and resolving any issues or concerns. Supervising and supporting the front-of-house and kitchen teams, fostering a cohesive and motivated work environment. Assisting with team training and development to enhance team members' skills and knowledge. Monitoring and maintaining quality standards in both service and food presentation. Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to ensure profitability. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Handling administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality or retail sector. Exceptional leadership and team management skills. Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal abilities. Excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Knowledge of food and beverage operations is advantageous.
