Job Title: Shift Materials Handler

Location: Operations Department

Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday-Friday (alternating shifts: 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00)

Pay: 12.21 per hour (with an uplift for holders of a Flexi/Bendi FLT licence)

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team in the UK. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient handling of materials that support our high-performance products. Your contributions will directly impact our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Be Doing

Loading and unloading production ovens Supplying raw materials to the production line Transferring raw materials, WIP, and finished goods around the premises Loading finished goods into trailers Receiving, booking in, and storing goods, including stock system updates Escalating stock issues and supporting with stock takes Strapping and labelling pallets ready for transportation Ensuring safe storage, handling and transportation of goods (including chemicals) Supporting production and warehouse colleagues when needed Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety in line with 5S principles
What We're Looking For

Essential:

Experience in a warehouse or similar environment Basic literacy, numeracy, and IT skills Current Counterbalance FLT licence with proven experience Strong attention to detail, time management, and teamwork skills A proactive, flexible approach with a strong work ethic
Desirable (but not essential):

GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English Experience with Sage 200 or similar systems Knowledge of 5S, lean manufacturing or 6-sigma principles Flexi/Bendi FLT licence (with pay uplift available)
