Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Process Operator to join our manufacturing team on a 5 shift system here at Fourstones Paper Mill, Hexham. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing production processes, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining safety standards within the plant. Duties

Monitor and control production equipment to ensure optimal operation and product quality. Conduct routine inspections and perform necessary adjustments or troubleshooting on machinery. Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines during all stages of the manufacturing process. Record production data accurately and report any irregularities or malfunctions to supervisors. Assist with the setup and changeover of equipment for different production runs. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas to adhere to health and safety standards. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets efficiently and effectively.

Skills

Proven ability to operate industrial machinery with precision and attention to detail. Strong understanding of safety protocols within a manufacturing environment. Good organisational skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the capacity to troubleshoot equipment issues promptly. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous but not essential. Basic literacy and numeracy skills for recording data and reading technical documents.
