The Newport Shift Process team is seeking a dedicated and skilled Shift Process Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a background in semiconductor manufacturing processes; this role requires a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment to support manufacturing and process teams Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance. Perform lot dispositions to recover product after tool aborts Utilise Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to monitor and improve process stability and capability. Ensure compliance with quality standards by following process specs and OCAPs. Create pipelines for process excursions to ensure rapid identification and resolution of issues. Complete engineering requests to participate in continuous improvement and capacity initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency. Prioritise tasks effectively to meet production goals and deadlines. Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and other departments. Utilise office software for data entry, reporting, and communication. Qualifications: Education: BTEC or HNC in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field is advantageous but not essential Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a semiconductor fabrication (fab) environment. Skills: Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques. Knowledge of cross wafer-fab processes is advantageous. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). Benefits: Opportunities for professional growth and development.
