Job Description

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Manager capable of running one of our flapjacks manufacturing lines, consisting of 12 - 15 operatives using some machinery and manual process. You will be responsible for ensuring safety standards are adhered to, and KPI targets are met, driving production, quality and training through your team. A positive shop floor culture is critical for us, and you will play a key role in cultivating this whilst driving the team and department to continuously improve in all areas.

As an expanding and improving family Business, we're looking for someone to help us drive performance to the next level. You will play a key role within our small management team, so we're looking for someone who can really bring about change and work collaboratively with a small Senior Management team. This role would suit an experienced professional, or a motivated individual looking to take the next step in their career.

Requirements

Excellent problem solving, communication and organisational skills

Willingness and ability to learn Good knowledge of Health & Safety Good understanding of food safety requirements (HACCP, BRC, GMP) Experience of implementing production management methodologies, such as Lean, 5S, etc Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities Computer literate on basic Microsoft packages Experience within food industry (desirable)
