What You'll Be Doing:
As a Quality Technician, you'll be the go-to person on the production floor for all things quality. Your mission? To make sure every product meets our gold-standard expectations.
Your day-to-day will include:
Being the first point of contact for quality queries on the shop floor
Promoting top-notch hygiene and quality practices
Performing regular quality inspections during your shift
Testing and analysing samples to ensure they meet approved standards
Helping contain and sort any faulty materials
Keeping the Quarantine Area organised and accurate
Sampling finished goods in the warehouse when needed
Conducting audits (GMP, Glass & Brittle Materials) and sharing results
Supporting investigations into non-conformances and customer complaints
Carrying out internal audits and assisting with continuous improvement
Collaborating with the Quality Manager and team on various quality initiatives
What You'll Bring:
? Previous experience in quality control
? Background in manufacturing (bonus points for food, print, or packaging!)
? Experience with internal/external audits
? Confident using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
? Familiarity with Avante is a plus (but don't worry--we'll train you!)
Shift Pattern:
You'll start on a rotating shift pattern:
Morning:
Mon-Fri (6am-2pm)
Late:
Tues-Sat (2pm-10pm; Sat hours vary)
Eventually, you'll move to a
3-week rotating shift
:
Morning:
Mon-Fri (6am-2pm)
Late:
Tues-Sat (2pm-10pm)
Night:
Mon-Fri (10pm-6am)
