Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Shift Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that both staff and customers have an exceptional experience. This role requires a hands-on approach, supervising team members, and maintaining high standards of coffee preparation and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily cafe operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure the store is well-stocked. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally. Implement training programs for new employees, focusing on Starbucks best practices. Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving operational efficiency.

Experience

Previous experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. Proficiency in hospitality and food preparation techniques is highly desirable. Strong team supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer connection. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. Proven record of driving sales and new products.
