We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of food preparation, service, and safety are maintained to the highest standards while supervising and motivating your team.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and consistency. Manage team performance through effective training, coaching, and mentoring. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean kitchen environment. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for improving service efficiency and customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of food production, staffing, and sales.

Skills

Proven experience in supervising roles within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong culinary skills with a background in food preparation and cooking techniques. Excellent leadership abilities to inspire and manage a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices essential for maintaining health regulations. Experience in food production processes, ensuring high-quality output consistently. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with both staff and customers. Previous experience in kitchen or barista roles is advantageous but not mandatory. A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service experiences.
