We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the hospitality industry. You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of food preparation, service, and overall guest satisfaction while managing a team effectively.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and safety standards.
Manage inventory levels, including food production supplies, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained.
Train and mentor team members in food safety practices, culinary techniques, and customer service excellence.
Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the establishment.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience.
Collaborate with upper management to implement operational improvements and enhance service delivery.
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality sector.
Strong culinary skills with a background in food preparation and cooking.
Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
Previous experience in kitchen operations, barista roles, or hotel environments is advantageous.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
