Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Shift Manager to oversee daily operations within our busy hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and managing the smooth running of shifts to uphold the highest quality of service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers as necessary to maintain inventory, ensuring timely deliveries and quality products Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations at all times. Supervise and coordinate team members during shifts, ensuring efficient food preparation, cooking, and serving processes. Manage daily operations including food production, kitchen activities, and customer service standards. Close down the restaurant, including cashing up and securing the premises Step in during busy periods to assist where needed Assist with training new staff and providing ongoing support to team members. Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly. Support staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage during busy periods.

Requirements

Supervising experience with demonstrated team management capabilities. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments. Ability to work effectively under pressure during busy periods. Good organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining high standards of service.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.25 per hour
