Overview

Trademaster are recruiting for a Team Supervisor for a concrete & aggregates company based in Armthorpe

Role will involve overseeing staff running machine bagging lines and warehouse stock . FLT Counterbalance would also be required for this role

Shift pattern is Monday to Friday 6am till 4pm and Friday 6am till 2pm

Pay is 13.75 per hour - Paid weekly every Friday

This role is permanent after probation period

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Shift Manager to oversee daily operations within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing teams, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise shift teams to ensure production targets are met efficiently and safely Coordinate daily activities, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation Monitor operational processes to uphold quality standards and compliance with safety regulations Resolve any operational issues promptly, escalating complex problems as necessary Maintain accurate documentation of shift activities, incidents, and performance metrics Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and optimise workflow

Requirements

Proven management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Supervising experience with a track record of leading successful teams Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar project management software is highly desirable Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to motivate staff and promote a safety-first culture Flexibility to work across different shifts as required
