Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our busy hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food service, and a comprehensive understanding of food safety and team management. Duties

Supervise daily restaurant or hospitality operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth service delivery. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and consistency. Manage team members, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and support. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of operation. Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally, maintaining high levels of hospitality. Enforce health and safety policies to create a safe working environment for all staff members. Support training initiatives for new staff members, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, or catering environment. leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hospitality roles such as serving or barista work is highly desirable. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced setting. Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and customers. Relevant qualifications in food safety or hospitality management are advantageous but not essential. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional service while leading a dedicated team in a vibrant environment.
