SHIFT LEADER JOB DESCRIPTION



Reporting to: Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager & General Manager

Responsible for: Bar team member, bar team leader, floor team member, floor team leader & KP team, as well as overseeing of on site door and cleaning team

Your role at a glance:



To provide excellent customer service To open and close the food hall in line with company standards. To ensure the food hall is operating safely and legally at all times, being mindful of health and safety, SOP's, legal, food safety & compliance To oversee the bar, floor & KP team To predominantly work on the floor, circulating the food hall throughout the day to ensure staff are in assigned areas, in correct uniform, being warm and friendly to guests and clearing plates and dishes prior to customers leaving. Please also keep a watching eye of the bar team to ensure the bar team leaders are training/ coaching the staff to standard in terms of drink specs, cleaning jobs and customer service. To adhere to Blend standard operating procedures (SOP's) and company police to maintain a clean, safe and legal workplace Overseeing of opening and closing the food hall, ensuring floor walks are taking place in the morning, staff are organised and the site is set up ready for trade, whilst being fully compliant with health and safety. Ensure closedown checks are carried out to a high standard to the food hall is set up ready for opening tomorrow Using of trail to ensure site is fully complaint Carrying out weekly, consistent kitchen audits of your assigned kitchens Carrying out weekly stock takes with a clear analysis of loss/gains and plans put in place to manage on a daily basis
All of the training we provide will teach you everything you need to know to succeed, but there are a few essential requirements you'll need to start.

Have a proof of right to work in the place where you will be based (U.K). This must be uploaded on Workforce prior to your first shift. This is a legal requirement Have a U.K bank account Be able to converse in English and to understand the language to complete training and other duties associated with your job role Have a fixed place of residence within a reasonable travelling distance of your place of work. Basic computer literacy

Pay: 16.11-18.11 per hour
