Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Supervisor to help lead our cafe/restaurant team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will be responsible for supervising daily front-of-house operations, ensuring service standards are met, and supporting the team in creating a welcoming, efficient, and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support front-of-house staff including servers, baristas, and hosts during service hours. Ensure smooth service flow on the floor, managing table turns, waitlists, and guest seating effectively. Lead by example in providing friendly, attentive, and efficient service to guests. Monitor food and beverage presentation and ensure it meets quality standards before being served. Address customer feedback and resolve any service issues or complaints calmly and professionally. Assist in training, coaching, and motivating team members to maintain high standards. Help manage stock levels for front-of-house supplies and communicate needs to the management or procurement team. Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and food handling standards. Handle cash management, billing, and POS system oversight when required.

Requirements:

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a front-of-house supervisory or senior service role in a cafe, restaurant, or similar environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills. Well-organized and able to manage time effectively during busy shifts. Working knowledge of POS systems and basic administrative duties. Flexible availability including weekends. Barista experience desirable- but full training will be provided
