We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations within our establishment. Duties

Supervise and manage the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service during shifts. Lead, motivate, and develop team members to enhance performance and foster a positive work environment. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to culinary standards and food safety regulations. Assist in bartending duties as required, providing excellent customer service and drink preparation. Manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while minimising waste. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues promptly. Conduct regular staff training sessions on food safety practices and service excellence. Collaborate with upper management to implement new policies or procedures aimed at improving operations.

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is essential. Strong understanding of food preparation techniques and culinary practices. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a kitchen environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Experience in bartending is advantageous but not mandatory. A passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service is crucial.
