We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our team delivers exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing kitchen and front-of-house activities, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily operations within the restaurant or cafe, ensuring smooth service during shifts. Strong barista Lead, train, and motivate team members to achieve high performance in food preparation, cooking, serving, and customer service. Maintain food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations throughout all areas of the establishment. Manage inventory levels and assist with food production planning to meet customer demand efficiently. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service to ensure a positive dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of meals while maintaining quality standards. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and feedback on performance. Assist in hiring and onboarding new employees, providing training on hospitality standards and operational procedures.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential. Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development. Previous experience in kitchen roles or barista positions is advantageous. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and customers. A background in hotel or catering services is beneficial but not mandatory. A passion for delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
