Overview
We are seeking a skilled Shift Supervisor to join our team, overseeing daily operations within our establishment. The ideal candidate will be available to work flexibly over 7 days between the hours of 9am and 6pm, have a strong background in hospitality, food hygiene and staff management with a passion for delivering exceptional service. Direct experience of working in a cafe or ice cream parlour is essential.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate staff during shifts, including assisting with training of new staff members
- Food preparation and service, ensuring quality standards are met at all times
- Manage stock and accept deliveries
- Oversee cleanliness and organisation of the floor area and food prep areas
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Keyholder with opening and closing responsibility
Skills
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry
- Proficiency in food preparation and hygiene techniques
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills are essential
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: 13.30 per hour
