Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during assigned shifts, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of operation.
Manage inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and ensure proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a welcoming environment for guests.
Support staff training programmes, promote teamwork, and motivate team members to achieve operational goals.
Monitor operational procedures to optimise productivity while maintaining safety standards.
Assist in scheduling staff shifts to meet business demands effectively.
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hospitality services such as serving or barista work is desirable.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently under pressure.
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and customers alike.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances whilst maintaining high standards of service.
