The Role

We are seeking an experienced Waiter or Waitress to join our team at the Cafe, Shilstone House. Your main responsibility is to ensure that guests have a wonderful experience. You will deliver excellent service from initial greeting, taking orders, making recommendations and paying of the bill.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and ensure they feel welcome offering assistance with menu choices and special requests Food & drink knowledge - have a good understanding of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide recommendations and answer customer queries Proactively check on guests during their meal to ensure guest satisfaction and address any issue that may arise Collaborative teamwork - work closely with kitchen staff, bar tenders and other team members to ensure an efficient service Make delicious coffee!

What we are looking for

Engaging, professional, and attentive A team player with a positive attitude Organised and efficient under pressure Passionate about great food and hospitality Experience preferred but not essential - training provided.

Your own transport is essential as we are not on any public transport routes

Work Location: In person

Schedule: Day shift - Wednesday to Sunday

Job Types: Part-time

Pay: 7.75-12.25 per hour dependent on age and experience
