We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join MonLife's Heritage team to
lead the delivery phase of the Shire Hall Museum project. This exciting project will
implement plans and proposals to integrate Monmouth Museum's collections,
including the nationally significant Admiral Lord Nelson collection, into the historic
Shire Hall to create an enhanced and sustainable museum offer with new galleries,
learning and community spaces, engaging and welcoming wider audiences.
You will oversee the implementation of designs and plans created during the
development phase of the project, managing the project team to achieve the
Curatorial and Engagement outputs required as part of the National Lottery Heritage
Fund grant and related grant bids. Working with the project team, external
consultants and MonLife colleagues you will lead an inclusive, collaborative and
community focused approach to the delivery phase of the project, as outlined in
developed interpretative and museum display proposals.
It will give you an exciting and challenging opportunity to further develop your skills
based on your existing sound project management knowledge and experience. This
is a temporary post for the duration of the Delivery Phase supported by The National
Lottery Heritage Fund.
