Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional Shisha experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that customers receive prompt and courteous service while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This position requires strong time management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen staff.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome. Take accurate Shisha, food and drink orders, using basic maths skills to ensure correct billing. Serve Shisha, food and beverages promptly, ensuring all orders are delivered accurately. Assist with Shisha preparation as needed, adhering to safety guidelines. Upsell menu items to enhance the Shisha/dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift. Collaborate with kitchen/shisha staff to ensure timely delivery of Shisha/meals and address any customer concerns. Handle cash and process payments efficiently while maintaining accurate records.

Requirements

Previous experience in a shisha lounge restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Basic maths skills for processing bills and handling cash transactions. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction. Strong communication skills with a friendly disposition towards guests and team members. A willingness to assist in kitchen duties when required, demonstrating teamwork and flexibility.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 13.05-13.45 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 36 per week
