Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our team. To work a minimum of 16hours/week in our Barry Retail Outlet. It will involve weekend work. More hours may become available to the right candidate. More hour may also become available to cover holidays and sickness. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shop, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all visitors.
Previous experience in retail or customer service is essential.
Minimum Wage is applicable to the applicant's age.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases. Maintain an organised and tidy shop environment, ensuring products are well-displayed. Process transactions accurately at the till and handle cash responsibly. Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers. Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
Skills
Excellent communication skills Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Organised with strong attention to detail, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. Previous experience in retail or customer service is essential.
