We're looking for an experienced and hands-on

Senior Supervisor

to take ownership of our

Seasonal and Gardening range

, leading a small team to deliver excellent merchandising, customer service, and sales performance throughout the year.

About the Role

As a

Senior Supervisor

, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Seasonal & Gardening department, ensuring the area is commercially presented, fully stocked, and delivering a first-class experience for our trade and retail customers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Supervising and motivating the department team to achieve sales and service targets Managing stock levels, availability, and replenishment, including seasonal changeovers Merchandising and layout planning to drive seasonal sales opportunities Supporting buyers and management with product ranges and promotional planning Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and housekeeping Providing product knowledge and support to customers and colleagues Ensuring smooth coordination with warehouse, tills, and other departments

About You

You'll be a proactive and organised leader with a strong background in retail or wholesale supervision -- ideally with experience in

garden, outdoor, or seasonal categories

.

We're looking for someone who has:

Proven experience in a supervisory or senior team leader role (retail or cash & carry) A passion for gardening, outdoor living, or seasonal ranges Excellent people management and communication skills Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail The ability to plan ahead and manage busy seasonal peaks A customer-first approach and hands-on attitude
