Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Shop Floor Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining an organised and efficient shop floor environment, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members. A multilingual or bilingual background is a must, particularly in Lithuanian/Ukrainian/Latvian/Russian and English.

Duties

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the shop floor to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with merchandising tasks, ensuring products are displayed effectively to maximise sales potential. Engage with customers, providing excellent service and upselling products when appropriate. Utilise basic math skills for inventory management and stocktaking. Demonstrate effective time management to prioritise tasks efficiently throughout the shift. Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals while maintaining high standards of quality and service.

Experience

Previous experience in a retail or shop floor environment is preferred but not essential. Strong organisational skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks effectively. Bilingual or multilingual abilities, particularly in English and Spanish, are highly desirable. Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
