Job Summary:



We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual with at least one year of experience in the vape retail industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent customer service, drive sales, and maintain a welcoming and well-presented store environment.

Key Responsibilities:



- Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive shopping experience for every guest.

- Utilize your knowledge of vape products to promote sales opportunities and assist customers with their needs.

- Represent Vape Rulers positively through professional behavior and a can-do attitude.

- Work independently and collaboratively with your team to achieve operational standards across the store.

- Perform effective cash handling and operate the till proficiently.

- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing through meticulous housekeeping and window displays.

- Stay informed and eager to learn about new products and industry trends.

- Engage in creative problem-solving to enhance customer satisfaction and store operations.

- Manage stock replenishment and maintain an organised inventory.

Qualifications:



- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the vape retail industry.

- Strong customer service skills and a passion for helping people.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.

- Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining a visually appealing store.

- Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Enthusiastic about learning and sharing knowledge about our products.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 9.50-12.98 per hour

As a vape shop, we require you to have some knowledge of vaping. Do you have any experience with vaping products? Please give us as much detail as possible.
Scenario-Based Question
Scenario: A new customer visits the store and says they are trying to quit smoking and have no experience with vaping. They're looking for a beginner-friendly device and are unsure about what they need.
Question: What kind of vape device would you recommend to this customer and why? How would you explain the differences between vape pens, pod systems, and mods to help them make an informed choice?
Question: How would you address their concerns about nicotine strength and e-liquid flavour choices to ensure a positive first experience?

General Vape Industry Knowledge Questions
Question: What are the main differences between freebase nicotine and nicotine salts, and how would you decide which type of e-liquid to recommend to a customer?
Question: What are some of the most common issues customers face with their vape devices, and how would you troubleshoot them or guide the customer to resolve the issue?

Retail-Specific Questions
Question: In a busy retail environment, how would you prioritize tasks such as helping customers, restocking shelves, and maintaining the store's cleanliness?
Question: How would you upsell or cross-sell vape products (e.g., recommending coils, e-liquids, or accessories) while ensuring the customer feels their needs are your top priority?

Education:

GCSE or equivalent (required)
Experience:

Retail sales: 1 year (preferred) Customer service: 1 year (preferred) Retail management: 1 year (preferred) Management: 1 year (preferred) Supervising: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (preferred)
