Shop Manager - Watford Mencap

Bushey High Street | 37.5 hrs/week incl. weekends | 25,000 p.a.

Join Watford Mencap and help make a real difference for local people with learning disabilities. We're looking for an experienced retail manager who's passionate about great customer service, leading a team of volunteers, and driving income for our charity shop.

What you'll do:

Manage a friendly team including volunteers and casual workers Deliver excellent customer service and keep the shop welcoming and well-presented Grow sales and donations to maximise income for our vital services Support people with learning disabilities to build retail skills through volunteering Take responsibility for daily operations, cash handling, and stock presentation
About you:

Proven retail experience (charity shop experience is a plus!) Great people skills and a positive, inclusive attitude Confident using IT, tills, and reporting tools Happy to work weekends and be hands-on with donations

Location: Bushey with occasional travel to Watford
