We are a niche, high-end Family Tailoring business offering made-to-measure and bespoke suits, as well as serving as the main stockists for Eton College uniform. We take pride in tailoring the Eton uniform to a high specification, offering a unique and personalised service to our discerning clientele.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced

Shop Manager

to oversee the daily operations of our retail environment. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing and specialist business at the forefront of traditional tailoring and bespoke uniform services.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of daily shop operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient retail experience.
Deliver outstanding customer service, with a focus on quality, discretion, and professionalism.
Manage, motivate, and support a small team of staff to meet sales targets and maintain high standards.
Coordinate fittings and tailoring services, liaising with clients and tailors as needed.
Maintain inventory, manage stock levels, and liaise with suppliers.
Work closely with the owner to help drive the business into new areas of the industry.
Learn how to take precise measurements and fulfil uniform orders with attention to detail
Assist walk-in customers with made-to-measure suits and general product purchases
Manage and maintain the shop floor, ensuring it is clean, organised, and fully stocked
Replenish stock and manage product displays
Handle telephone enquiries and process orders confidently and professionally
Support dry cleaning services where necessary
Operate the payment system (full training provided)

Proven experience in retail management, preferably within tailoring, luxury retail, or a similar customer-facing environment.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a hands-on and proactive attitude.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
A passion for high-quality craftsmanship and personalised service.
Flexibility, reliability, and a keen eye for detail.
Knowledge on retail systems

Additional Requirements:

Due to the nature of our work with school-age clients, the successful applicant must be DRB checked(Disclosure and Barring Service), or willing to undergo a DRB check.

Pay: 24,420.00-52,995.45 per year
