Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for retail management, ensuring the runs smoothly and efficiently. As the Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, driving sales, and providing exceptional customer service.

Duties

Manage and motivate a small team to to provide excellent customer service Maintain high standards of product knowledge Manage stock levels and ordering Handle customer enquiries, sales, aftercare and complaints with professionalism and courtesy Oversee cash handling and banking procedures Conduct regular staff training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques Prepare reports on sales performance, staff productivity, and customer feedback for management review Liaise with owner regarding promotions, policies and staff performance

Requirements

Previous retail management experience, ideally in jewellery luxury or fashion sector Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Proficient in administrative tasks related to shop operations. Committed to excellent customer service, with the ability to build rapport with customers Organised, reliable, proactive and punctual
The hours will be from Monday to Saturday. No Sundays or Bank Holidays required.
