As the Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, driving sales, and ensuring a well-organised and efficient shop environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage shop staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance. Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales strategies. Communicate effectively with team members to foster a positive work environment. Implement sales management techniques to achieve store targets and enhance customer satisfaction. Conduct regular training sessions for staff to improve skills in customer service and product knowledge. Maintain administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the shop. Manage stock levels and place orders as necessary to maintain inventory.

Skills

Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with customers and staff alike. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for enhancing customer interactions. Proficient in administrative tasks related to retail operations. Demonstrated ability in team management, fostering collaboration among diverse groups of employees. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on achieving results through effective leadership.
