Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail establishment. The site in question comprises of both hot / cold food and a meat counter selling pre-packaged meat from our sister butcher company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, managing the whole store front and back as well as driving sales performance. This role requires a strong leader who can effectively communicate with a diverse team and clientele while maintaining an organised and efficient shop environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily shop operations to ensure smooth functioning and high standards of service. Manage and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service. Oversee inventory management, including stock ordering, receiving, and merchandising. Compile and manage the staff weekly rota. Foster a welcoming atmosphere for customers by ensuring the shop is well-presented and staffed. Ensure the shop is kept to the highest standard of cleanliness both the food prep area, the food service area and the meat shelves. Conduct regular training sessions for staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement. Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare reports for management review Strong
