Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bakery Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for retail management, and the ability to drive sales while ensuring exceptional customer service. As a Shop Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers and leading a motivated team.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of shop operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and customer service. Lead and motivate the team to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of presentation. Sell products effectively while providing knowledgeable assistance to customers. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations. Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team performance and product knowledge. Handle administrative tasks such as reporting sales figures, managing budgets, and maintaining records. Foster a welcoming environment for customers by promoting excellent service standards, and welcoming everyone with a smile Utilise time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced retail setting. this is the perfect role for someone who thrives on people, pace and pasties.

Qualifications

Proven experience in retail management or similar leadership roles. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time efficiently. Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to build rapport with customers and staff alike. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making within the shop environment. Familiarity with administrative duties related to retail operations is preferred. A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and enhancing the shopping experience.
