We are now looking for a

Shop & Mobile Curtain Assistant

to join our team. This is a

permanent part-time role

, working

3 days per week (including alternate Saturdays)

, with an immediate start available. A

full UK driving licence

is essential, as the role includes visiting customers in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing a welcoming, professional service to customers in the shop. Visiting customer homes (using the company van) to measure and fit curtains and blinds. Supporting the workroom team, including hand sewing and general tasks. Operating safely around sewing machines and other equipment. Handling incoming telephone enquiries. Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
What We're Looking For:

Experience with hand sewing and sewing machines (preferred, but not essential). A valid, clean UK driving licence. Strong communication skills and a good level of spoken English. Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to cover shifts when needed. A team player who is enthusiastic and hardworking. Previous retail or fitting experience would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.
