Saturday: 6am - Close (2pm)

12.21 per hour

About Us:

Burbidge's Bakery is a fifth generation, family business - we are a charming, busy little bakery located in Andover. We pride ourselves on creating delicious baked goods from scratch using the finest ingredients. Our team is passionate about providing excellent customer service and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our customers. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Full-Time Shop Staff Member.

Responsibilities:

Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain very high standards of hygiene. Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner. Accurately follow our strict allergen and dietary processes. Operate the cash register, handle cash, and process card payments accurately. Assist with the preparation and packaging of bakery products. Ensure the shop is clean, tidy, and well-stocked at all times. Assist with inventory management, including receiving and organising deliveries. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints effectively.

Requirements:

Must have recent exerperience in busy, high-volume, fast paced environment, such as a bar, pub or busy restaurant/ retail.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work the hours indicated in the advert.

Proven experience with early morning starts/ night shifts.

At least 5 years experience in a customer service or retail role is preferred.

Exemplary personal hygiene and ability to health and safety regulations and maintain very high standards of hygiene. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work well within a team and independently. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
