Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery/ Butchers Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our bakery/ butchers, ensuring that high-quality products are prepared and presented to our customers. Duties

Assist in the preparation and production of baked goods, pastries, Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency and quality in all products. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Support the head baker in managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed. Participate in the decoration and presentation of baked items for display. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods. Assist with customer service by providing information about products and taking orders when necessary.

Experience

Previous experience in food production or preparation is highly desirable.. Familiarity with baking techniques and processes is essential. Experience working in a kitchen or restaurant environment will be beneficial. Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is required. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well under pressure are essential traits for success in this role.
