A position has become available for a motivated and conscientious Shopfitting & Joinery Planner with a strong work ethic to join our friendly team based in Ossett, Wakefield.

We are a successful, ambitious and expanding privately owned family company. Now in our 52nd year of operation, we design, manufacture and install our own bespoke equipment for the retail sector. We work with an array of household name retailers who demand the highest quality designs and planning.

The Role

We are looking for -

A good communicator who is keen to learn Someone who is conscientious and motivated. A strong eye for detail. Ideally, with experience of working in shopfitting/joinery planning 2+ years' experience of Solidworks Experience of Autocad (advantageous but not essential). Experience of SAP/MRP (advantageous but not essential)

Role Responsibilities

Obtain/create client drawings and prepare cutting lists/BOMs using personal judgement and initiative to establish what materials are needed and the best method of construction Produce job cards/drawings for relevant departments, ensuring cards are complete and accurate information is given to enable production and manufacture of products Liaise with other departments in order to establish and maintain effective production of products Inform of any discrepancies to relevant manager/department. Produce work to a high standard in a timely manner
