We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shopkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations within the shop, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced setting and have a passion for customer service.

Duties

Assist customers with their purchases and provide excellent customer service. Manage inventory levels, including ordering and restocking items as necessary. Prepare food items in accordance with food safety regulations and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the shop, including food preparation areas. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Implement basic maths skills to manage pricing and stock levels effectively. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the shop environment. Demonstrate effective time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in a retail or food service environment is needed. Previous experience in coffee shop. Strong understanding of food safety practices. Basic maths skills to assist with transactions and inventory management. Excellent time management abilities to ensure efficient operation during peak hours. A friendly disposition with a willingness to help customers with their needs. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.71-13.00 per hour
