To delight shoppers with best-in-class shopper, trade and other experiential events marketing activities with ownership of the shopper/trade plans and associated resources to deliver key business and commercial goals.
To develop the product portfolio with tactical product updates/rollouts across all product categories and relevant markets according to the approved product pipeline
To support the marketing team with the execution of major marketing activities across the portfolio where required.
To be an advocate between the Marketing and Sales departments and relevant agencies to ensure collaboration and seamless activity execution according to commercial cycle plans and schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Shopper/Trade/Events Marketing
Develop & lead the execution of shopper/trade activities throughout the multiples and independent channel, co-ordinating among the Marketing Team, Sales Team, the Trade and relevant Agencies to ensure seamless execution.
Lead the execution of assigned experiential/events marketing activities according to set standards and KPIs, working with internal and external teams to deliver activity goals.
Coordinate Shopper Marketing planning activities with relevant internal and external teams including meetings, task, and output management according to the approved Cycle Planning schedule.
Oversee the shopper/trade budget and produce relevant tracking and reconciliation reports collaborating with all relevant stakeholders including the Sales & Finance Teams.
Develop and implement all online and in-store brand collaterals including assigned trade presenters working with the Brand Manager and Sales Team.
Ensure compliance of all shopper/trade activities and events executed by the Marketing and Sales Teams with event specific insurance, legal, health and safety obligations as required.
Performance Management
Provide pre- and post-performance reports on shopper/trade/events execution and activities according to business/shopper/activity goals, strategies and set execution standards.
Conduct audit of the trade to track performance against the business' commercial metrics including distribution, visibility, and competitiveness.
Produce required reports on key in-store competitor activities collaborating with the Business Analyst to include data-driven insights on the effectiveness and threat level of these activities.
General Marketing Support
To provide execution support to the Brand and Marketing Managers on key activities as assigned.
To actively participate in the development of annual brand plans, cycle execution plans and new product rollout pipelines to ensure seamless execution.
To liaise with the Diaspora organizations and principals in the planning and execution of mutually beneficial activities to deliver company and brand objectives.
Liaise with the Global Category and Product Managers to ensure smooth execution of strategy and visibility of the relevant performance reports.
