Short Break Foster Carers
Job Description
Short Break Foster Carers needed to provide regular part time care to support local children and young people with learning and/or physical disabilities, Autism or complex medical needs across Powys.
Experience of caring for people with disabilities is not essential, just a willingness to work closely with children's families and the professionals to provide a caring short break experience.
You will need to have a spare bedroom, time, energy and flexibility to provide consistent care to young people.
We provide training as well as a comprehensive 24/7 high level of support and guidance, and an allowance to help you provide the short breaks needed.
