Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will be a mature confident home cook with catering experience. this could of been gained in a busy cafe or coffee shop setting

ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

This position requires a strong understanding of food safety practices and a commitment to delivering warm welcoming dining experiences in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Duties

Assist in meal preparation by following recipes and guidelines to create delicious dishes.

Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, and marinating as required for various menu items.

Cook and present food items according to restaurant standards, ensuring consistency in taste and appearance.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.

Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.

Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.

Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols. Experience Previous experience in a cafe / golf club kitchen / pub kitchen would be a advantage

experience with food preparation techniques

Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools, along with an understanding of food safety practices.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy kitchen setting.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 11.50-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 14 per week
